AWG70000B Arbitrary Waveform Generator

AWG70000B Arbitrary Waveform Generator

The AWG70000B Series Arbitrary Waveform Generator sets a new standard in signal generation with unmatched sample rate, signal fidelity, and waveform memory. Designed for testing, development, and operations of complex systems, components, and experiments, it offers an impressive sample rate of up to 50 GS/s and 10-bit vertical resolution, ensuring the industry's highest quality signal stimulus for generating ideal, distorted, and "real-life" signals. With 20 GHz bandwidth, this advanced waveform generator excels in providing precise, ultra-fast signal generation for wideband, high-fidelity waveforms, making it ideal for complex protocol emulation, radar testing, and high-speed serial validation. Equipped with deep memory and sub-picosecond jitter, it overcomes test bottlenecks, enabling engineers to focus on design possibilities rather than hardware limitations. The AWG70000B Series is perfect for teams working on next-generation systems, ensuring accurate, high-performance testing for tomorrow’s innovative designs.

Generate equalized wideband signals right at the DUT interface

When generating wideband signals, minor impedance discontinuities in the interconnect cables can affect the amplitude and phase flatness. Additionally, as signal frequencies increase, they can be subject to the analog bandwidth and roll-off characteristics of the AWG. To help you improve the fidelity of your generated waveforms, Tektronix AWGs correct these signal impairments by pre-distorting, or pre-compensating the waveform data to counteract the degradation. Achieve excellent frequency flatness right at the interface of your device under test with the pre-compensation plug-in for Tektronix AWGs.

The cleanest, truest to life signals.

10 bits of resolution with a full range of sample rates (up to 50 Gs/s) allows you to simulate complex environments, recreate objects of interest and reliably generate precise test signals—all with low EVM and noise. Directly generate signals with up to 18 GHz of bandwidth or generate baseband I/Q streams.
